Full Job Description
We are looking to recruit a Pharmacy Technician and Support Staff Lead to work in our innovativeNorth East and Yorkshire School of Pharmacy and Medicines Optimisation. The purpose of the Lead for Pharmacy Technician Training is to oversee and lead work on the development and delivery of workstreams specifically for the pharmacy technician and support staff workforce. This work is underpinned by the need for a flexible, productive and affordable healthcare workforce that meets the needs of patients, reflecting evolving care pathways and the values set out in the NHS Constitution. The post holder will coordinate a range of projects, from proof-of-concept work to integrating emerging workstreams with established programmes.Main duties of the job The postholder will be working as part of the North East and Yorkshire Regional Pharmacy team but will be expected to work with NHSE's National Pharmacy team and other relevant stakeholders across the system. Achieving this will include:
- Engaging with senior stakeholders, developing and maintaining relationships with a range of key stakeholders (internal and external) across all programme areas, identifying areas of interdependency and forging links as appropriate e.g. employers and professional organisations.
- Working in partnership for multi-organisation ownership and accountability
- Managing projects at a regional level
- Deputising in senior stakeholder meetings, briefings, conferences, workshops and other forums as appropriate
- Running consultations and task and finish groups to understand system requirements
- Budget management, NHS England hold a Sponsor Licence; this means that we may be able to sponsor you providing the Home Office requirements are met. To be eligible for sponsorship through the Skilled Worker route you'll usually need to be paid the 'standard' salary rate of at least £38,700 per year, or the 'going rate' for your job, whichever is higher.
