Full Job Description

As a Senior Product Analyst, you will play a key role within the Software Engineering scrum teams by owning and prioritising key initiative and feature capabilities that will be delivered within the product or tribe domain. You will be responsible for eliciting requirements into the form of user stories & acceptance criteria whilst prioritising multiple scrum team backlogs with the goal of streamlining delivery, whilst ensuring conceptual and technical integrity. The Senior Product Analyst will work across multiple products &/or tribe domains, supporting Product Analysts and ensuring a high standard of analysis quality is produced. You will also build strong working relationships with your colleagues within E2E Analysis, Architecture and Delivery to ensure continuous alignment throughout the delivery lifecycle. As a Senior Product Analyst, you will also be responsible for growing a highly efficient and effective product analyst team. You will manage and monitor key team metrics, ensuring certain standards and targets are set and continuously work to evolve and mature ways of working to give the team the best chance of success. What you will do: Analysis:

  • Participate in daily stand-ups, refinement sessions, sprint planning & retrospectives
  • Defines detailed requirements (user stories) and their acceptance criteria
  • Works with the scrum team(s) to define and understand the goal of each sprint to aid sprint planning
  • Grooms the scrum team backlog to ensure full alignment and understanding within the scrum team(s)
  • Supports the scrum team(s) to create the definition of ready & done, and its attainment
  • Works with E2E Analyst, Architecture, Delivery & Technical Leads to identify the scenario coverage including identifying hidden flows and requirements
  • Champions and provide the scrum team(s) the context around the user and customer needs, tracking it back to the business value
  • Provide everyday support to the scrum team(s) from an analysis perspective helping the team perform effectively
  • Support and provide showcases (where relevant) to the delivery and business stakeholder community
  • Responsible for the quality of your, and the analysis team, analysis artefacts
  • Work collaboratively with other teams in our department using agile processes and methodologies
  • Become a subject matter expert across the different product tribes and grow a detailed understanding of capabilities supported within these teams.
  • Team Support
  • Share knowledge and expand the product analyst teams skills sets (including Salesforce knowledge and skill sets in relation to platforms such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud etc...)
  • Support & mentors other team members and share both process and content knowledge
  • Support the Technical Product Manager on ways of working and ensuring roadmap / backlog alignment is well understood across the technical product management function
  • Provides consultancy around domain e.g., Knowledge, Experience, ways of working
  • Contributes and encourages adoption of new analysis skills, tools, and techniques
  • Support all impacted teams and help backfill any resource or capacity gaps that could impact the delivery of initiatives, Cloud Services

  • At least 3 years' experience of working with Salesforce platforms (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud)
  • Experience working in a scrum team environment, documenting user stories and acceptance criteria, and prioritising the team backlog
  • Experience working with key business stakeholders to fully understand the business needs and outcomes
  • Knowledge of software tools such as JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint.
  • Experience working with Software Development Teams (Preferably Scrum)
  • Knowledge of various Agile / Lean frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Outstanding organisation skills.
