Full Job Description

The Product Owner will be required to provide support to internal bespoke software application development. This role is essential to the Enterprise Applications group to be successful.

  • Manage the Product Backlog
  • Create and maintain User Stories and Acceptance Criteria
  • Maintain Product Roadmaps
  • Implement application and system changes in line with IS processes, procedures and policies, to budget, time and scope.
  • Communicate with key business stakeholders to ensure systems meet expectations.
  • System specialist/SME/Super user for applications relating to specialism.
  • Escalate incidents, problems issues and risks accordingly.
  • Task manage key resources supporting the system.

    Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in Product Management
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with Azure DevOps
  • Whilst not to be considered a tick list, we'd like you to have experience in some of the following:
  • Experience with the full Software Development Life Cycle
  • Strong understanding of Agile Methodologies and principles
  • Experience with User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX)
  • Experience of Application Development Software i.e. .NET and SQL
  • Experience of Cloud application management
  • ITIL Qualification
  • You'll need to have the ability to work calmly and constructively in a priority changing environment and be able to manage your own workload. You will also have initiative, enthusiasm, a flexible approach, and ability to work to tight deadlines.

    Package: 48,250 - 65,000 (depending on your suitability, qualifications, and level of experience),
  • 9-day working fortnight - meaning you get every other Friday off work, in addition to 270 hours of annual leave.
