Full Job Description
Working as part of the Specialty Training Programme Support Team in the PGMDE function, the post holder will support the coordination and delivery of postgraduate education and training across the North East and North Cumbria. Duties will vary day to day and can include a wide range of administration tasks including regular communications and liaison with NHS England North East administrative colleagues and the Lead Employer Trust., The Programme Support Assistant will be responsible for the provision of administrative and clerical support to the Specialty Training team and functions in the north east and north Cumbria. Key duties include:
- general office duties to support the business
- ensuring that agendas and documentation for meetings and events are available by required deadlines
- assisting with key Programme Support functions (e.g., Learner Events, Trainee assessment panels, etc.)
- accurate data processing: data entry and monitoring of quality of data
- acting as the first point of contact for the Programme Support team (electronically & verbally), NHS England hold a Sponsor Licence; this means that we may be able to sponsor you providing the Home Office requirements are met. To be eligible for sponsorship through the Skilled Worker route you'll usually need to be paid the 'standard' salary rate of at least £38,700 per year, or the 'going rate' for your job, whichever is higher.
