Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Onboarding Team Leader to manage our sizable Onboarding Team, supporting with compliance administration for recruitment across our Group. This is an exciting time to join a highly enthusiastic team, committed to recruiting people throughout the business whose aim is to make a difference to the lives of the people we support. This role will be a combination of both home and office working from our Support Centre in Halesowen. It is anticipated you typically working 4 days from home and 1 day in the office, but requiring the flexibility to increase this as the business requires.,

  • Overseeing the performance of the onboarding team members
  • Monitoring and delivering performance targets dependent on workloads
  • Reporting KPIs and targets to individuals
  • To complete weekly/monthly performance and business reports
  • Ensure all pre-employment checks (DBS, right to work checks, offer letters/contracts and referencing checking) are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • To onboard candidates when required (this could be during team annual leave/unexpected absences)
  • Support with day to day and ad hoc duties within the compliance and internal recruitment team.
  • Responsible for the onboarding and compliance sign off for new starters across the division.
  • Build strong working relationships with managers and candidates offering relevant advice and support throughout the onboarding process.
  • Ensure the company compliance procedures and processes are implemented in the most efficient and effective manner.
  • Conducting audits and reports on key compliance checks.
  • Ensuring the HR system is up-to-date and data input information accurately.

    Leadership experience
  • Previous experience working in an onboarding/compliance administration role managing multiple candidates at any one time
  • Ability to work to deadline and process high volumes of data
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and have the ability to work as part of a team
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Experience of using Microsoft Office packages
  • Desirable:
  • Experience of working in a social care setting
  • Experience of working remotely supporting a multi-site business
  • Understand the needs of the people that we support
