Full Job Description

We've built a solid base of experience and infrastructure in widely used healthcare technologies like OMOP and FHIR, now we need to expand our tools and processes to take in more use cases for research and process improvement. We work mainly on a small on-premises infrastructure where we're making increasing use of container orchestration and DevOps to run our Python data pipelines; as well as a pilot cloud project which we're currently building out for access to scalable compute and other tools.

No previous experience in research or healthcare is necessary, please apply if you have some of the above technical skills and would like to collaborate closely with clinicians and data scientists to raise the standard of data use in the NHS.

Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust (GOSH) is an international centre of excellence in child healthcare. Together with our research partner, the UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health, we form the UK's only academic Biomedical Research Centre specialising in paediatrics.

The Great Ormond Street Hospital Data Research, Innovation and Virtual Environments (DRIVE) Team was created to raise the standard of patient care using technology.
