Full Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to support our General Insurance Customer Operations business area. This is a varied role with a primary focus on monitoring operational resilience and developing our risk & control landscape to keep our colleagues and customers safe from any potential harm. You will be responsible for actively influencing and shaping our risk management framework to ensure that our existing controls are fully monitored and effective and that any new risks are identified, escalated and where possible mitigated. This will include monitoring adherence to our compliance, conduct and governance policies. You will report into the Risk & Control Manager and work closely with the Customer & Control Operational Lead and Senior Contact Centre & Change Manager. You will have opportunities to support the wider General Insurance Customer Operations Head of Function and their wider Senior Leadership Team. Your responsibilities will also include providing line management support to our small team (2 FTE) who provide Risk-based Monitoring of Operational Telephony Conduct. Join us on our journey and you will too… What you'll need · Completion of control assessments in line with Risk procedures. Implementing associated action plans when improvements identified, or controls assessed as not effective. · Monitoring and monthly reporting on all operational risk areas, this will typically include control adherence such as Data Privacy, Data Loss Prevention and information security breaches, Conflict of Interests policy, Gifts & Hospitality policy, mandatory training completion and adherence to records management principles. · Designing new controls to help mitigate risks and issues paying close attention to any new operational initiatives and process changes. · Supporting adherence to Records Management requirements · Line management and personal development of direct reports.
