Full Job Description

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service are looking for a Risk, Insurance and Business Continuity Support Officer to enhance our team based at our Service Headquarters in Exeter. You'll join us on a permanent basis working 29.6 hours per week. In return you will receive a competitive salary of £28624.00 - £31067.00 per annum pro rata which equates to £22899.20 - £24853.60 for working 29.6 hours per week.

In this role you will provide comprehensive administrative and project management support for the Risk, Insurance and Business Continuity Management department, and support the Risk, Insurance and Business Continuity Team with the configuration and administration of ICT Systems for the effective management of the risk registers., Fire and Rescue Authority roles are listed in Schedule 1 of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) Exceptions Order and as such it is our policy to require all applicants to disclose any criminal convictions (both spent and unspent) including driving offences, cautions and reprimands.

Ability to identify risks and issues and develop innovative solutions to problems.
Ability to analyse and interpret data accurately and efficiently.
Experience of working with software systems.
Proven administration and time management skills
Ability to produce and populate spreadsheets and software systems, prepare senior management risk reports and action trackers.
Proven ability of working with MS Office software packages (MS365, Outlook, Word, Excel and Access).
