Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Progressor to join our team within Vistry Manchester & Cheshire East at our office in Warrington. As our Sales Progressor, you will progress reservations to exchange and legal completion within the company agreed timescales. You will also support the customer journey and effect timely exchanges through regular communications with solicitors, mortgage brokers and estate agents, dealing with issues promptly and efficiently. You will keep the business informed on all sales progress for accurate financial legal completions forecasting.,

  • Update Keys with all sales progress activity, keeping all plot records up to date with accurate information.
  • Liaise with the Sales Director, Sales Manager and Marketing Manager from site set up and manage Keys - Dynamics 365 Database from Coming Soon until site sales presence.
  • Proactively communicate on a daily/weekly basis to the Sales Director any issues with conveyancing and plot progression to ensure completions targets are achieved.
  • Ensure contracts are issued by company solicitors within the agreed timescales and with the correct plans/information.
  • Liaise with other Vistry departments to ensure enquires etc are responded to within a timely manner.
  • Produce weekly sales progression tracker for sales team.
  • Keep in touch with the sales team and the customer updating them on their purchase and advising them of actions they need to take.
  • Liaise with mortgage lenders, solicitors and estate agents and other Vistry departments to deal with any issues that arise.
  • Attend weekly sales/build meeting and forecast expected exchanges, providing reasons for delays on overdue contracts.
  • Report on KPIs including outstanding contracts, time taken to achieve exchange, upcoming legal completions.
  • Generate general letters/memos, e.g. pre-contract meeting letters, 35-day intention to complete letters, welcome letters.
  • Complete extensive list of weekly and monthly reports e.g. reservations; outstanding missives; legal completion statistics; data schedules; revenues; availability; releases; costs; deposits, etc and ensuring that the reports are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • To progress the part exchange resales to exchange and legal completion. Liaise with solicitors, estate agents and our external team that help us in the delivery of part exchange.
  • Present a positive image of Vistry through all dealings with purchasers.
  • Perform general office administration tasks, as and when required, to meet the needs of the department - e.g. filing, photocopying, fielding telephone calls.
  • Provide a service of excellence, developing opportunities for customer feedback and involvement to deliver continuous improvement.
  • Develop effective working relationships with solicitors, mortgage brokers, Homes England, lenders, sales team and Vistry departments.
  • Attend and contribute to regional meetings as required.
  • Develop good working relationship with company solicitors.

    5 GCSEs/GCEs including Maths and English, or equivalent
  • A Levels in any discipline
  • Legal and/or Estate Agency, New Homes background
  • Strong IT skills
  • Experience with CRM systems
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Able to work under pressure, prioritise and meet set deadlines
  • A good understanding of building regulations and legal obligations
  • Proficient with MS Office programmes, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel and Sales software e.g. Connections Database/COINs/Keys
  • Excellent telephone manner and email etiquette
  • Ability to deal with customers and stakeholders in a friendly and professional manner
  • Able to effectively handle difficult situations
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Willing to be flexible in respect of day-to-day duties and hours worked
  • Full driving license
