You will join the screening team to support all aspects of activity related to processes and controls to ensure the screening solution remains effective whilst driving efficiency through the implementation of tuning rules.   • Hybrid Working - we understand that employee expectations and preferences are changing. We have implemented a, Support the Name List Screening (NLS) Tuning Senior Analyst to drive model tuning efficiencies, optimisation and address potential gaps identified
  • Identification of opportunities to adjust screening filter parameters and ensure appropriate rule desing to reduce false positive alerts, whilst maintaining effectiveness
  • Maintain documentation and follow the Bank's tuning framework and associated governance protocols to successfully track and deliver tuning enhancements
  • Cross function collaboration to ensure the screening model operates in-line with testing standards, assessing appropriately new data elements, changed data requirements and model features

    Good knowledge of end-to-end name and transaction screening systems such as Fircosoft, and the associated data, processes, risks and controls
  • Fundamental understanding of United States (US), United Kingdom (UK) and European (EU) sanctions laws, regulations and guidance, with understanding wider AFC requirements preferred
  • Educated to bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification/work experience with relevant background in data, analytics, or technology
  • Good analytical skills, ability to evaluate options logically, objectively, and critically taking into account multiple sanctions regimes and/or requirements
  • Knowledge of database/ data lake technologies (SQL, Hive) and object-oriented programming (C#, Python, R, Visual Basic (VB)
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills. Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills
