Senior AWS Cloud Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer with a strong focus on automation to join our professional services engagement. This role will primarily involve hands-on work with Terraform and other Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools to automate cloud deployments and maintain scalable infrastructure pipelines. You will work closely with the AWS architect to ensure the smooth implementation of cloud infrastructure that aligns with the company's needs and strategies. Role & Responsibilities:

• Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and other IaC tools.
• Set up and maintain infrastructure pipelines, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and efficient.
• Implement a GitOps approach to manage and deploy cloud infrastructure.
• Work with tools like Jenkins and other CI/CD systems to set up cloud pipelines.
• Perform code reviews and ensure best practices are followed in automation and cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with AWS architect and cross-functional teams to align automation with architecture and design.
• Independently handle cloud environments with minimal day-to-day oversight.
  
  Hands-on experience with Terraform and other infrastructure automation tools.
• Proven track record in setting up CI/CD pipelines and automating cloud infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, with experience in AWS or other cloud providers.
• Experience with a GitOps approach, leveraging tools such as Jenkins or similar.
• Ability to work independently, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.
• Practical experience is valued more than certifications.
Desirable Skills:
• Experience in multi-cloud environments.
• Familiarity with cloud security and networking principles.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
