Senior Controls Engineer

Reporting to the Controls Engineering Manager the successful candidate will have responsibility for maintaining and enhancing the Company's control systems at all London sites.,

• Maintain and enhance control and instrumentation, hardware and software whilst ensuring refinery operations perform to the optimum level.
• Communicate with all levels of refinery personnel to ensure understanding of changes to the control systems
• Provide specialist instrumentation knowledge to the refinery for capital projects and assist with replacement of legacy systems when required.
• Evaluate changes/upgrades to process control systems and make recommendations for continuous improvement
• Contribute to the definition of standards for the development and maintenance of process control systems within the refinery
• Provide call out support in line with the company procedure.
  
  Solid project management experience
• Excellent understanding of a range of process control tools and techniques, but specifically ORSI, Siemens, HP, Allen Bradley, Wonderware ArchestraA.
• Good knowledge of sugar refining operations
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline or equivalent experience
