Full Job Description

Create easy-to-use and high-performance applications which enable our internal business teams to build, run, and optimise places like the PlayStation Store
Define requirements and develop solutions using technologies such as JavaScript, Java and React
Define and evaluation criteria for testability, scalability, and performance
Work with QA to adjust and adapt solutions and processes, maintaining high-level of software quality
Work independently and mentor junior members of your team
Exercise your creative problem solving capabilities and work with other teams to define a path forward

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent, or at least 5 years of relevant professional experience
5+ years professional software development experience
Highly proficient in customer facing UI development (HTML5/CSS3)
Experience with SPA frameworks such as React, Angular, Ember.js or similar
Extensive experience interacting with RESTful APIs
Experience collaborating with multi functional partners, especially with product, design, and server teams
Domain expertise in performance optimisation or comparable areas within your current field
Experience with revision control systems such as Git or SVN

Bonus Qualifications

Experience building back-end services using Object-Oriented languages such as Java, C#, JavaScript, or similar
Experience with Relational Databases
Experience with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies
