Full Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and versatile Senior Product Owner. Reporting to the Product Management team, you will be responsible for leading the product development process from concept to delivery, while also facilitating the agile development methodology. A key part of this role involves creating detailed user stories that guide the development team in understanding what needs to be built. Here's how:
- Work with Product Management to understand and communicate the product vision, strategy, and goals to the development team and stakeholders.
- Continuously refine and evolve the product vision with Product Management based on market trends, customer feedback, and business objectives.
- Create and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring it reflects the most valuable features and user stories.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, refine user stories, and define acceptance criteria, manage and define scope and objectives
- Participate in release planning meetings to help the team establish a release schedule and scope, determine priority features.
- Act as the primary liaison between the development team, Product team, and stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to scrum processes, participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, remove obstacles
- Track and report key agile metrics such as sprint velocity, burn-down charts, and team performance.
- Define acceptance criteria for user stories, verify that deliverables meet these criteria, and product meets quality standards through testing/validation
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to co-create design requirements, wireframes, and prototypes
- Conduct design reviews and provide feedback and guidance on design iterations to optimize user experience and interface aesthetics.
- Work with Product Managers to create demo scripts that effectively communicate the value proposition of the product
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration) or equivalent practical experience. - Proven experience as a Product Owner, with a strong understanding of product management principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, able to collaborate across cross functional teams
- Strong understanding of technical concepts, with the ability to grasp new technologies and methodologies quickly.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for exploring and solving complex technical challenges.
- Experience working with B2B SaaS products desirable.
