Full Job Description

We're looking for a passionate full Senior Software Engineer (C# .Net, React.JS, MVC, SQL Server, Azure) to help take our products and technology platforms to the next level. You'll be working with a solid tech platform primarily based around Microsoft .Net Core, React, and SQL Server. You'll be part of a flexible, fun and rewarding team environment, which values people over process. We want everyone to feel confident to create and contribute to the business and the product straight away. Working directly under the Head of Development, this is a great opportunity to enhance your skills and work on some high-profile products which support the NHS in England. Our organisation is critically dependent on data and information to understand and support the NHS. The Senior Developers are key team members, using in-depth knowledge and experience of cloud-based applications, Microsoft and other development tools to advise and mentor other team members in addition to leading the development of online customer-facing applications. This role will be principally responsible for the delivering the application and Business Intelligence output required for the Model Hospital / Model Health Service and other Improvement products. These innovative new solutions for NHS Trusts will be pivotal in enabling NHS Trusts to identify and realise local operational productivity gains and improvements in quality, safety and efficiency. The role holder will have responsibility to deliver regular product releases and develop effective development processes to ensure robust, quality and timely delivery of data updates.     Advanced skills in object-oriented software engineering and developing dynamic data-driven applications in the Microsoft .Net framework using C#, MVC, and .Net Core

  • Strong SQL Server skills and the ability to construct efficient T-SQL statements, identify and resolve performance bottlenecks
