Job Summary:

Salary range: £37,575 - £41,286 per annum
Work location: London
Hours per week: 36
Contract type: Temporary up to 12 months
Vetting requirements: Enhanced DBS Check

About Us:

Working within the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital team or Community Team where the successful applicant will be working with adults who are tri-borough residents within the hospital or Kensington Town Hall. A good understanding of statutory duties under the Care Act 2014, the MHA 1983 and the MCA 2005 is essential to delivering within the role. As a service we have a firm commitment to equal opportunities policy and anti-discriminatory practice. A good understanding of relevant legislation and guidance, excellent IT skills, and knowledge of electronic case management systems and safeguarding procedures will be used on a day-to-day basis.

The Role:

You'll be working with some of the most vulnerable people in our communities, so you'll be an empathetic and caring communicator, skills you'll also use when interacting with other stakeholders and colleagues. With the ability to undertake mental capacity assessments and respond appropriately using risk assessments and legislation to guide your practice, you'll also be able to plan, manage and prioritise your workload while working in a complex, high-pressure environment.
