Full Job Description
The Senior Software Developer will work across one or two service-focused teams to lead on technical design, development and integration. The role involves working closely with our product managers, QA analysts and UX and design specialists, as well as with other stakeholders.,
- Lead on understanding and assessing technology services provided by third party partners and suppliers and ensure robust integrations are developed.
- To ensure that the team (employed and freelance) are engaged and well informed regarding the Department's initiatives and the team's activities and targets and what is expected from them both in delivery of their objectives and behaviours, including when representing the BFI
- Be a champion for the BFI's digital transformation internally by leading Show & Tells on work in progress and externally by writing blog posts about your area of expertise. Person specifications, First Name

The right candidate will have several years of professional software development experience with full stack skills and knowledge. Experience with PHP frameworks such Laravel and Drupal as well as Javascript frameworks would be a definite advantage., Good knowledge of technical design patterns and ability to select and implement most appropriate patterns for particular. - A deep technical understanding of development languages and frameworks with a demonstrable ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Experience of implementing software integrations with third party payment providers and app store payment platforms.
- The ability to manage and lead a team of software developers with a collaborative and supportive leadership approach.
