Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an innovative Senior Biomedical Scientist within LCL Clinical Biochemistry., The duties of the post will include the supervision of an area of ClinicalChemistry. In conjunction with other senior staff you will cover all aspects ofservice provision, method development, coordination of BMS and support staff to ensure that a quality service is maintained and delivered.

The successful applicant will be educated to MSc level or equivalent and have demonstrable post registration experience in Clinical Biochemistry.

The successful candidate should demonstrate excellent leadership skills and have experience of maintaining UKAS ISO15189 standards., The successful candidate should be able to and willing to work across sites in LCL Clinical Chemistry: BGH, AUH and RLUH.

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust was created on 1 October 2019 following the merger of two adult acute Trusts, Aintree University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust.
