Full Job Description

+ Monitor national targets for the LTBI programme.
+ Manage administrative processes to ensure the LTBI programme is
delivered in time.
+ Work closely with specialist nurses, GPs and colleagues across the Region.
+ Identify and invite patients suitable for the screening programme and to be an advocate for the service
+ Attend screening events as and when required to do so.
+ Inform patients of their results and ensure follow up appointments are made.
+ Analyse and interpret information/data and compile reports on outcomes for the Cambridge and Peterborough area including uploading data to the UKHSA LTBI programme portal and submitting data to the national database.
+ Ensure the efficient and effective use of departmental equipment and resources.
+ Provide professional management of referrals, arrangement and coordination of meetings.
+ Undertake and contribute to project work as directed liaising with other Trusts and organisations in the development of the service.
+ Deal with and deliver decisions and actions modifying and adapting
communication methods using persuasion and tact within delegated sphere of authority.
+ Be accountable for planning, prioritising and organising work load
+ Act as a line manager to designated staff, including recruitment, induction, training and performance management., + To monitor compliance against the national targets for the LTBI programme.
+ To manage administrative processes to ensure the LTBI programme is
delivered in time and to specifications.
+ To work closely with specialist nurses, GPs and colleagues across the Region to facilitate timely inputs.
+ To identify patients suitable for the screening programme and to be an advocate for the service - communicating the purpose of screening to the public and encouraging attendance at testing centres, using a wide range of effective communication skills where there may be barriers to understanding or reluctance to comply.
+ Invite eligible patients to attend screening, ensuring the efficient take up of clinic slots.
+ Attend screening events as and when required to do so.
+ Inform patients of their results and ensure follow up appointments are made if required.
+ Co-ordinate, supervise and maintain robust data collection and validation mechanisms.
+ Analyse and interpret information/data and compile reports on outcomes for the Cambridge and Peterborough area including uploading data to the UKHSA LTBI programme portal and submitting data to the national database.
+ Liaise closely with other centres within the region, ensuring that administrative processes are streamlined and effective.
+ Ensure the efficient and effective use of departmental equipment and resources.
+ Provide a highly professional, comprehensive, effective and efficient assistance service to the TB service including, management of referrals, arrangement and coordination of meetings and minutes taking.
+ Oversee the maintenance and update of department's databases making suggestions on how these can be improved for better data recording.
+ Undertake and contribute to project work as directed liaising with other Trusts and organisations in the development of the service.
+ Deal with and deliver decisions and actions modifying and adapting
communication methods using persuasion and tact within delegated sphere of authority.
+ Be accountable for planning, prioritising and organising work load ensuring work produced by yourself /team is of the quality and quantity required ensuring expected Trust
+ Act as a line manager to designated staff, including recruitment, induction, training and performance management. Conduct, document and register annual appraisal and development review in a timely manner in line with CUH policy and procedure. Set and agree
personal development objectives including defined outcomes and agreed timeframe
