Full Job Description
This role will:
- Deliver the road marking and highway lining programme and assist with the delivery of the Road Safety Service
- Ensure compliance with the Highways Act 1980 and Traffic Management Act 2004, to provide the safe and expeditious movement of traffic
- Plan, deliver and maintain a sustainable road marking and highway lining programme
- Support the Highway Management Service by maintaining relevant and accurate highway data
- Deliver sustainable maintenance in accordance with approved strategies
HNC/HND in a relevant discipline or relevant equivalent experience in highway asset management - Significant experience in the management of highways and associated data
- An In-depth knowledge of Codes of Practice, Specifications, Legislation relating to highways management, and materials For full details of the responsibilities and requirements of this role please see the attached Job Description and Person Specification.
