Technical Specialist - Road Marking

This role will:

• Deliver the road marking and highway lining programme and assist with the delivery of the Road Safety Service
• Ensure compliance with the Highways Act 1980 and Traffic Management Act 2004, to provide the safe and expeditious movement of traffic
• Plan, deliver and maintain a sustainable road marking and highway lining programme
• Support the Highway Management Service by maintaining relevant and accurate highway data
• Deliver sustainable maintenance in accordance with approved strategies
  
  HNC/HND in a relevant discipline or relevant equivalent experience in highway asset management
• Significant experience in the management of highways and associated data
• An In-depth knowledge of Codes of Practice, Specifications, Legislation relating to highways management, and materials
