Full Job Description

We are looking for a proven Threat Intelligence Analyst, reporting to the Threat Intelligence and Vulnerability Management Lead, to join the Global Security Operations team. You'll be working with internal and external stakeholders to develop a comprehensive understanding of the threat landscape facing the FNZ Group, producing actionable intelligence in a wide variety of reports to support the hardening of FNZ's security posture. You'll be analytical, detail orientated and able to quickly digest multiple sources of intelligence in order to share insights with varied audiences. You will have prior experience in a complex and evolving environment and be able to evidence excellent communication skills Specific Role Responsibilities

  • Review the latest information from threat intelligence sources to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities, carrying out assessment of the risks to FNZ.
  • Work with Security Operations as part of Security Incidents.
  • Measure and report the maturity, effectiveness and efficiency of Incident Response and Threat Intelligence services
  • Advise, guide and support the Cyber Security and Technology functions on matters relating to cyber threats
  • Support the development of the FNZ-wide cyber threat model and ensure that information sets are aligned with SOC data feeds and repositories
  • Support the routine risk reporting process by informing on changes in the FNZ threat landscape and the associated impact on risk exposure
  • Lead reviews, analysis and research to identify, assess and mitigate against cyber threats, vulnerabilities and risks

    Understanding of tools, techniques and procedures that modern attackers use to compromise organisations.
  • Understanding of some security frameworks and methodologies such as OWASP 10, SANS TOP 25, MITRE ATT&CK.
  • Experience in information or cyber security including threat and risk analysis for complex/high-risk environments, preferably involving the finance sector within cyber defense teams
  • Certification in one or more of the following is desirable: CRTIA, CRTIM, CEH, CCSP
  • Experience in vulnerability research, malware analysis and exploit investigation, with of common threat analysis models and frameworks such as STiX, Cyber Kill Chain, Diamond Model etc
  • Experience in information exchange with commercial and government organization, and turning this into actionable intelligence that can be consumed to better protect the business
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity standards and frameworks
