Full Job Description
We have a new exciting and challenging opportunity for an Administrator (known internally as a Service Delivery Assistant) working for the South Wales Victim Focus team covering South Wales. We offer a hybrid working model which means your working week will be split between our office in Rumney in Cardiff and working from home, 37.5 hours per week. Do you want to be part of a fast paced, unique service providing the highest quality support to the victims and witnesses of crime?, The purpose of this role is to support victims, ensuring that South Wales Victim Focus realises its aim of helping people cope and recover from the effects of crime. South Wales Victim Focus serves diverse communities, many of whom experience a range of barriers that may impact on their ability to cope and recover from what they have experienced. These can include financial distress; social isolation; reduced mobility; mental and physical health issues; substance use and lack of opportunity. South Wales Victim Focus aims to identifying what matters to service users and empower them to take control of their journey. You will be part of our service delivery team providing support across a range of functions within SW Victim Focus; managing Excel spreadsheets, inputting and raising invoices; managing calls to and from a range of people including those affected by crime and generally supporting our multi-crime service to run smoothly. You will be able to demonstrate the excellent organisational skills essential to managing a demanding and diverse workload. We support staff and volunteers to keep them safe within their role and you will be given all the training you need to be able to manage your role effectively. This role can at times be emotionally challenging and so as with all staff within the HS, you will be expected to engage with clinical supervision and supervision with your line manager.
