Full Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to join the Domestic Abuse team in Accrington or Preston working 37.5 hours a week., We are looking for a Team Leader to manage the team based in Preston or Accrington supporting victims of all risk levels. It is a very busy service and a demanding role and you will need to have lots of passion, experience, drive and resilience to ensure that your team are supported effectively and delivering good quality services. As a Team Leader you will be Supporting a team of 6-8 staff providing expert advise and guidance and conducting robust case management to ensure that your team are providing quality services and addressing the needs and risks of our clients., Please note we're not responsible for the content of job ads, as they're posted by the recruiter. - An IDVA accreditation or equivalent
- Experience of managing a team of a similar size and scope in a comparable service.
- An extensive understanding of domestic abuse, risk assessment and risk management including experience of working with high risk victims and/or perpetrators of domestic abuse, those with complex needs and/or challenging behaviour.
- The ability to build relationships with key stakeholders and develop multi-agency responses to support victims and reduce the harm they potentially face
- The ability to advocate and appropriately challenge agencies in order to achieve positive outcomes and reduce the risks posed to victims
- To be flexible, adaptable and highly resilient.
