St Johns Court offers a vibrant community atmosphere, located in central Bath by the river, which is easily accessible via public transport or car, there is a free car park to enable staff to park at work.
St Johns Court provides Extra Care Housing for adults, who have some care needs, with an assured tenancy in a self-contained flat in a purpose-built or adapted scheme.
At Bath & Northeast Somerset Council we provide innovative training to develop skills, inspire individuals, enrich the wider community, and encourage all to achieve and progress.
About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and motivated person to work on a permanent basis within one of our Extra care schemes as a Care & support worker.
One of the council's strategic objectives is to ensure we deliver excellent quality care services. To support this objective and provide assistance to individuals living within their own home environment we are seeking to appoint a compassionate, caring and reliable support worker.
Experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given. The post is part-time and will involve a rota system. Enhancement is paid for weekend and out of hours working. This role is offered on a permanent basis. We also encourage staff to join our bank team.
