Full Job Description
This is an opportunity to lead a team of risk specialists supporting our LBCM North American Clients, responsible for assessing and investigating standard / high risk factors and recommending whether to maintain clients. You'll also be responsible for completing some investigation on these clients. The role will be split c80% leading team and c20% undertaking the investigation. You'll work with other Associate Directors within Client Services covering other customer segments within the group. We're highly collaborative and help all colleagues to become rounded risk professionals by developing a broad range of skills across our specialisms. We encourage innovation, to focus on risks and streamline wasteful processes. You'll lead in delivering continuous improvement activities. These are to ensure the team keeps abreast of regulatory changes and horizon risks, as well as eliminating non-value adding tasks or processes. This is an opportunity to contribute to a global operational centre of excellence and support our customers' needs and the company's growth ambitions. You'll be helping colleagues in their development. As a subject matter expert, you'll keep abreast of industry developments and regulation, sharing information across appropriate teams within the division.
Do you have demonstrable experience leading teams and ability to work effectively with partners across a variety of business functions? You'll need to show a passion for developing new ways of working and either knowledge, or a keenness to learn, about the ECP risk specialisms covered in this team.
- Proven ability to manage teams.
- Track record in coordinating work in order to achieve expectations and follow established timelines.
- Partner management skills, to lead important client relationships with guidance from senior colleagues.
- Experience and technical knowledge in an ECP role.
- Knowledge of, or a passion to learn about, ECP risk areas. And Any Experience Of These Would Be Really Useful
- Coaching skills and track record of personal development.
- Experience in the design and implementation of a compliance programme while ensuring adherence to regulatory and compliance standards.
- Ability to identify shortcomings, then suggest and implement improvements to existing business practices.
- Knowledge of US Economic Crime Regulations, or a passion to learn about, with a deep understanding of UK ECP Regulations.

You will be part of a wider team who carries out KYC on existing customers for Business & Commercial Banking and Corporate & Institutional Banking business areas. The Ongoing Know your Customer Team is part of Client Services which has over c.1000 colleagues with hubs across the UK.
