Full Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional manager to join our team and support us in the delivery of high quality services across the directorate which comprises - Maternity Gynaecology and Fertility.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and collaborative individual, confident at communicating across all staffing types and in partnership with other teams and organisation.

The role is an ideal opportunity to for those looking to develop in an operational management role supported by a Directorate Manager, This is a key management role in Women's Services, presenting an opportunity to improve care for the local community, as part of an incredibly high performing and supportive team. Alongside the Directorate Manager, this role will provide supportive, engaging and authentic leadership for the BCC team, to improve both colleague and patient experience at RBFT.

This role will support the Directorate Manager and Care Group Management team in ensuring the smooth and effective running of the department.

The post holder will also represent the Trust externally across charities, regulators, networks and commissioners. They will proactively work with other Directorates and teams internally across the Trust to develop better services for patients.

This role will also maintain a lens on development of our workforce for the future, driving efficiencies and innovation through the directorate, with the support of the Care Group Leadership team.

The successful candidate will have a can-do attitude, extensive problem solving skills and the ability to effectively prioritize competing workload/demands.

Please note previous operational experience is required for this role.
