Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Therapy Support Worker to join our large innovative community-based team working across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland as part of our children's Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy team. The Children's Therapy Service seeks to provide a high-quality service to children and their families in their home, clinics, nurseries and schools. We have developed pathways within Early Years, Complex Disability, Physical Disability and we also have a variety specialist interests across both Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy.,

  • You will need to demonstrate flexibility and initiative, to work as part of a Multidisciplinary and Multi Agency Team.
  • You will need to be able to manage your time effectively.
  • You will gain support and supervision in order to continue to develop your skills with children and young people.
  • We encourage continuous professional development through both internal and external training.
  • You need to be able to demonstrate an understanding of working in a community setting, the complexities of working within a family and a multidisciplinary, multiagency environment and be familiar with children's equipment and their use.
