Join our pioneering Health Data Science team at the NHS, where you'll be at the forefront of shaping the future of healthcare through data. As a Data Wrangler, you'll play a crucial role in developing research assets, uncovering novel insights from clinical and operational data, and revolutionising the way real-world data research is delivered. Your expertise in T-SQL, SQL Server, ETL processes, database design, and data quality assurance will be vital as you navigate through vast healthcare databases. Your proficiency in the latest technologies like Databricks and coding languages such as Python, R, and SQL will empower you to make significant contributions to our research initiatives. As a key member of the PIONEER Health Data Research Hub for Acute Care team, you'll handle a subset of regular data processing and reporting. Your collaborative spirit will make you the go-to person for researchers seeking guidance on data assets. Your responsibility includes curating and organising essential support documentation to ensure the seamless use of our data resources., Join our Health Data Science team as a PIONEER Data Wrangler, driving innovative healthcare solutions. Your role involves:
- Running automated data processing/reporting, meeting critical deadlines.
- Interrogating data tables and developing technical and reporting skills.
- Preparing and validating data for the RDI Hub Data Warehouse.
- Using SQL, Excel and PowerBI to process queries and fulfil ad-hoc requests.
- Ensuring clear communication with internal/external parties and contributing to information sharing and problem-solving.
- Analysing complex data to draw insights, managing data quality through ETL processes, and resolving data issues.
- Collaborating with teams, prioritising requests, and efficiently managing time to balance multiple priorities.
- Adapting to changes, maintaining standards for data reporting, and assisting in the maintenance and improvement of processes.
- Verifying data integrity and contributing to regular report production. Your advanced data wrangling skills, will be key to prioritising tasks and maintaining the highest data standards.
