Full Job Description

As our Head of People, you will be a senior leader within QEH, contributing to the Hospital's strategic aims and reporting directly to the Hospital Executive Director. You will lead our site People Team, in delivering an excellent Employee Relations service and drive human resources initiatives, whilst ensuring the highest standards of employee engagement, development, and well-being., 1. Leadership

  • Lead the effective development of leadership and people management capability across the Hospital, so that staff are recruited, inducted, cared for, appropriately
  • managed, effectively deployed, retained, developed professionally and their concerns elicited and resolved in a timely and effective manner.
  • Responsible for the inspiration, motivation and performance management of teams within the remit of the role.
  • Develop the Employee Relations work streams to be effective, organised, integrated and managed to fully support the strategic aims of the People Directorate.
  • Promote a culture which promotes a just and learning culture and ensures that decision-making is allocated to appropriate levels, allowing staff to make a valuable
  • contribution based on their development needs and career aspirations.
  • Take a solutions-focused perspective to challenges to drive forward positive change, as well as resource needs.
