Full Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to support the corporate operations team in the delivery of key improvement programmes in line with our organisational strategy and values, focussing on care quality, urgent and emergency care, and elective performance. A priority will also be preparing to move later this year into the new Midland Metropolitan University Hospital, and your role in supporting operational readiness will be crucial., 1. Accept delegated responsibility for specific areas of corporate workstreams and provide support to the relevant speciality teams.
2. Liaise with operational managers, as required to ensure that key performance targets and access targets are delivered and support development of action plans with the corporate and directorate services to be implemented.
3. To work with operational teams in support of effective utilisation of resources and assist in project work as required.
4. Support identification of areas for service development, ensuring that the workforce and job roles reflect clinical requirements.
5. Take responsibility to ensure administrative processes and systems are in place to deliver operational efficiencies and key performance indicators as required.
6. Working with the operational management teams to ensure that facilities are fully utilised across the directorate and support performance expectations.
7. To provide support in demand and capacity analysis which will determine the level of services required to be provided by the specialties in both outpatients and inpatients departments
8. Support the corporate operations team administration with associated arrangement and facilitation of performance management forums internally and externally to the Trust.

You will need to demonstrate experience of effective administrative management for senior leaders, successful coordination of projects, knowledge of clinical services, possess strong organisational skills and efficient time management with a proven track record of delivering results.
As well as having the relevant experience you must be resilient, with a strong work ethic and the ability to build effective working relationships with multidisciplinary colleagues across the organisation.
