Full Job Description

The Emergency Services Network (ESN) is a huge strategic priority for BT and our commitment to do the best for our customer and our country. ESN will be one of the most advanced Emergency Services Networks in the world. and BT is proud to the official supplier providing mission critical and trusted communications for Britain's Emergency Services. The ESN will replace the existing Airwave network and building upon on EE's existing 4G network and to provide essential new voice, data services, and critical communications services to 300,000 members of frontline emergency service users. This is a key role working with the Home Office and 3 Emergency Services (3ES) Users to ensure the Emergency Services have operationally acceptable coverage to facilitate their transition to ESN. You will manage key relationships with 3rd party site providers to ensure we can deliver the coverage needed whilst generating revenue for BT. You will also support the commercial acquisition and delivery of all ESN incremental coverage solutions and ensure that the overall strategic benefits of ESN can be delivered. The successful candidate will be cleared to BPSS (or equivalent) as a minimum. You may even be required to undergo National Security Vetting (e.g. CTC, SC or NPPV). What you'll be doing

  • Support relationships with Delivery and Deployment functions across BT Technology and BT Business. Support customer relationships with suppliers and key customers such as the Home Office
  • Coordinating tasks to support Delivery, Deployment and Commercial teams, and mobilisation for ESN requirements
  • Ensuring Coverage Services delivery activities operate on time and in budget according to customer requirements
  • Ensure best practice processes and procedures are in place to minimise costs whilst delivering the quality required for ESN
  • Gather, analyse and provide reporting on project data

    Communication
  • Issue Resolution Order Management Commercial Acumen Growth Mindset What we would like to see on your CV
  • Proven experience of Telecoms and technology delivery, previous experience of working with technical internal/external stakeholders and suppliers. Exposure to working on public sector projects would also be useful
  • Able to perform data gathering and analysis of technical data. Site Tracker experience would be advantageous but not essential
  • Good understanding of finance, managing risks and cost management
  • Experience of coordinating in a project environment. Good organisational, ownership and project coordination skills
  • Proven background in building brilliant working relationships with key stakeholders. Ability to communicate technical information into non-technical language, would be beneficial
