Full Job Description
- Communicating with adults and their carers over the phone, at surgeries, through on-line meetings and occasionally in their own homes and care homes across Suffolk.
- Helping adults and their carers with completing their financial assessments for care charges.
- Providing support to adults, advising them about their rights to welfare benefits and grants and how to make claims for these.
- Assisting our ASC personal finance team by completing statutory visits to their Court of Protection clients and helping to complete benefit claims for these and people whose finances they manage under a DWP appointeeship., Step 3 - Upload a supporting statement answering the following questions below (no more than 400 words per question). You should use the Supporting Statement template. 1 . Describe a time when you had to communicate complex information to someone who had limited knowledge in that field. How did you adapt your communication style to make sure they understood? 2. Provide an example of a time when you had to quickly respond to a changing situation or unexpected request from someone. How did you approach the challenge, and what was the outcome? 3. Tell us about a time when you had to acquire new knowledge or skills to better serve a client or stakeholder. How did you approach this learning process, and how did it benefit your work

- Flexibility in your approach to meet the changing needs of the service, and to be able to respond to requests quickly and effectively
- An understanding of the welfare benefits system
