Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for excellence in housekeeping & cleaning services? We are seeking an experienced and motivated Head Housekeeper to join our Facilities management team, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our services., As Head Housekeeper, you'll be at the heart of our mission to deliver exceptional service within our Trust. You will manage and oversee Trust-wide Housekeeping, Cleaning, Hygiene, Sewing Room, and Pest Control services. Your role is vital in ensuring that our services not only meet but exceed quality and financial objectives.,

  • Leadership & Strategy: Be a role model and contribute to the development of our workforce and business strategies. Drive our Facilities objectives across the organization.
  • Operational Management: Oversee 24/7 operations for housekeeping, cleaning, and related services. Ensure compliance with standards and enhance service delivery.
  • Collaboration & Expertise: Work closely with Directorate teams, senior managers, and external stakeholders, offering professional advice and ensuring best practices.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Promote a patient-centered approach, ensuring that all services contribute to an exceptional patient experience., Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of Trust-wide housekeeping, sewing room, and pest control services, ensuring compliance with standards and effective service delivery 24/7/365.
  • Contractor Management: Manage contractors to ensure they meet service requirements and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Service Development: Enhance services to be efficient, effective, and responsive, providing accurate information and expert advice.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure operational health and safety for the team and stakeholders, supporting emergency responses.
  • Customer Service: Foster a culture of high customer service, ensuring services contribute positively to the patient experience.
  • Planning and Improvement: Develop and implement service plans, business cases, policies, and procedures, focusing on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Support Programs: Contribute to Trust's PLACE program, handle complaints according to standards, and assist in risk management and incident reporting.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively within the Estates and Facilities Directorate to ensure strong service delivery and strategic alignment.
  • Communication: Manage communication with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  • Project Management: Undertake additional projects as needed.

    Proven experience in managing large-scale housekeeping or facilities services.
  • Strong leadership and strategic planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • A proactive, problem-solving approach with a focus on customer service and operational excellence., Demonstrable ability to prioritise and manage time, people and resources to deliver required outcomes
  • Good oral and written communication skills
