Highway Assessment Officer (Redeployment 17104)

In this role, you will collaborate with a dedicated team to make a meaningful difference in our services and support the communities we serve.,

• fulfil Suffolk County Council's statutory duty by conducting regular highway safety inspections
• respond to customer reports by carrying out ad-hoc safety inspections and providing updates on the outcomes
• initiate reactive repair works based on inspection findings to restore the highway to a safe condition
• perform regular audits of completed works to ensure high-quality standards are upheld
• employ AI technology to assess the condition of the highway effectively., Join our dynamic Highways Assessment team, where you'll play a key role in ensuring the highway network is safe for use and maintenance activities are prioritised and completed. You'll be part of a collaborative and supportive team of 21 Highways Assessment Officers who are led by 3 Highways Assessment Engineers. This role is working based in our Halesworth Service Delivery Centre covering the eastern parts of Suffolk
