Full Job Description

We have a great opportunity for an experienced IT professional to join our Business Information Systems department as the firm's IT Director. This will be an interim position for the duration of 12 months. As the IT Director you will be responsible for the successful delivery of all aspects of IT and data solutions across the firm. You will be a role model for the firm's values, provide leadership to the BIS department and embed a high-performance service and solution culture across all areas of IT. This role is integral to support the development of the department aligning to the firm’s values with the courage and creativity to bring new ideas to the table.

We are looking for someone who has experience in a senior IT position within a blue-chip or professional services environment. Within your experience you will be able to demonstrate successfully leading and delivering on IT / change projects with the ability to manage multiple projects in a complex environment whilst ensuring that all milestones are successfully met. The key to success in this role is a strong track record in building and developing high-performance, engaged, and motivated teams. You'll need to demonstrate expertise in building internal confidence and credibility as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor across all levels of an organisation. As a confident, calm, and credible individual with excellent communication skills you should be able to connect and engage with people at all levels, internally and externally. You will be well networked in the IT market for benchmarking best practice and developing an awareness of new and emerging technologies. Possessing a high degree of technical fluency and being able to demonstrate practical application of such competence is key. Some international IT experience to support the firm's international presence would also be advantageous. With the IT department playing a crucial role in our firm's growth, we are seeking individuals with exceptional business acumen, self-motivation, and the ability to thrive in a high-performing and complex environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving abilities, the capacity to articulate clear arguments, and outstanding influencing skills.
