Full Job Description

We are seeking a talented and people-focused Team Leader for our Construction Management team. The Team Leader will lead, coach and develop a team of Construction Managers, providing direction and focus for the individuals, whilst understanding business requirements to deliver a construction management technical capability to our business.

  • Degree in an engineering, construction, or resource/human resource management discipline.
  • Experience operating within the Engineering/Construction Management/Build Environment field.
  • Has operated at the level of people/resource manager.
  • Working understanding of people, processes, and systems (inc. HR).
  • High degree of professionalism in all areas (communication, approach, style).
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to produce reports and comfortable interrogating data.
  • To be successful in this role you will need to be a highly proactive and adaptable construction leader. As well as managing, mentoring and developing your team, you will be transforming the way we work by embracing new tools and technologies, simplifying our ways of working and engaging with our many construction supply chain partners to establish best practice learning and development. All candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role and to work in all areas of AWE.

  • 9-day working fortnight - meaning you get every other Friday off work, in addition to 270 hours of annual leave.
