Full Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for driving the integration of clinical governance systems across our organisation, ensuring seamless support of quality, compliance, and assurance standards within all healthcare services. Taking ownership of clinical audits, you will oversee submission processes and collaborate with healthcare experts to ensure adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements. You will actively support safety and risk management by tracking responses to patient safety alerts, following up on critical actions, and proactively managing risks across services to maintain a safe healthcare environment. Additionally, you will analyse trends in quality metrics, preparing high-level reports and translating data insights into actionable recommendations for quality improvement initiatives to foster continuous improvement in our healthcare services. Finally, you will support policy development and updates to ensure that our services remain aligned with the latest healthcare legislation, standards, and best practices, ensuring full regulatory compliance at all levels.
As our organisation continues to grow and expand its impact, we are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Quality Governance Facilitator to join our thriving Quality Team. In this pivotal role, you will be at the centre of a fast-growing healthcare organisation, actively shaping and overseeing governance systems and processes within our NHS-funded services. With a core focus on clinical governance, healthcare quality, compliance, and assurance, you'll ensure that our standards not only meet but exceed those required to deliver outstanding patient care and healthcare services.,
- Healthcare and Governance Expertise: Direct experience in healthcare settings, with a solid grasp of clinical governance processes, quality, and assurance best practices.
- Patient Safety Knowledge: Strong understanding of the NHS patient safety agenda, healthcare compliance, and clinical governance standards.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written abilities for effective engagement with healthcare stakeholders.
- Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently, prioritising demands in a healthcare assurance environment.
- Attention to Detail: High-quality work with meticulous accuracy, essential for maintaining clinical governance and assurance.
- Presentation Skills: Skill in preparing clear, detailed reports and presentations on complex healthcare information.
- Audit Experience: Proven experience applying audit findings to drive quality improvement in healthcare., Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of relevant legislation for independent healthcare providers.
- Professional Development: Relevant qualifications or interest in further education in governance or quality assurance.
- Implementation Experience: Experience introducing new systems or processes in healthcare governance.
