Full Job Description

In Team Digital, we're planning for a future where the technology solutions we co-create and design enable us to achieve our goal of protecting our greatest natural resource and allow our customers, communities and the environment to thrive.

As a team, our vision is to create an everyday digital experience for the people we serve - our customers - by putting them at the heart of everything we do. As part of our award-winning team, you'll help the business become an intelligent, connected organisation to deliver our digital transformation and turnaround.

Are you passionate about SAP and eager to make a significant impact in a dynamic environment? We are looking for an experienced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) developer with experience writing BW queries to join our Data Team within the BI division. Your work will be central to creating and improving SAC reporting templates and dashboards, helping drive strategic decision-making across the organisation.

What you'll be doing as a SAP Analytics Cloud Developer:

- Collaborate and Create: Work closely with business stakeholders to design engaging SAC stories that bring the product owner's vision to life.
- Maintain Excellence: Oversee and maintain a portfolio of SAC artefacts (models and stories), ensuring they remain accurate and relevant.
- Resolve and Support: Swiftly address incidents and support users experiencing issues with production stories.
- Meet and Exceed: Ensure all requirements are clearly understood and met according to the product backlog.
- Communicate Effectively: Clearly articulate delivery expectations and maintain open lines of communication with all stakeholders.
- Advocate for SAC: Promote the benefits of SAC within the organisation, driving maximum value from the team's efforts. Showcasing the capabilities of SAC by leading demos and showing the art of the possible to all levels of the business, up to and including C-suite.

Base Location: Clearwater Court, Reading - Hybrid. (1-2 days a week in the office)

Working Pattern: Full Time/36 Hours per week.

What you should bring to the role

We want to bring together a team of brilliant tech minds with game-changing ideas. We're looking for people who will help us re-imagine the way we work and the way we get things done.

A truly digital mindset. Open to collaboration. Open to risk. Open to new ways of doing things.
- Obsessed with data. Obsessed with excellence.
- People who think and behave differently to the way we do. People who don't want to just be another cog in the machine.
- SAC Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience with SAC, including modelling, data blending, complex calculations, predictive analytics, and planning.
- Data Integration Skills: Proficiency in working with both live and acquired data sources.
- BW/4HANA Proficiency: Experience with writing queries on BW/4 HANA.
- Modelling Tools: Experience with both Eclipse and traditional SAP GUI modelling tools.
- ETL & Data Warehousing: A background in ETL processes and data warehouse management is desirable but not essential.
- SAP Datasphere: Demonstrable experience with SAP Datasphere would be a plus.
- Continuous Delivery: Experience working in continuous delivery environments and cross-functional teams using Agile methodology., Disability Confident
