+ Grade 9 - £37,253 pro rata made up of: o Basic salary per annum: £33,253 o Market supplement payment per annum: £4,000 pro rata + Grade 10 - £37,324 - £40,527 pro rata made up of: o Basic salary per annum: £34,324 to £37,529 pro rata o Market supplement payment per annum: £3,000 pro rata + Grade 11 - £40,629 - £43,928 pro rata made up of: o Basic salary per annum: £38,629 to £41,928 pro rata o Market supplement payment per annum: £2,000 pro rata Derbyshire is a large authority divided into six localities: Amber Valley, Chesterfield, Erewash, High Peak (Buxton, Glossop, New Mills, and Matlock), Bolsover and North-East, and South Derbyshire. Alongside our Locality teams we have a countywide Children with Disabilities Service. Our Fostering Service operates across High Peak, South Derbyshire, North East Derbyshire & Chesterfield, Disability Fostering Team (county wide) and Contract Care Fostering Team (county wide). This post is based in the South of Derbyshire with the office base in Ilkeston. There may be occasions where you will be asked to travel to other areas in Derbyshire. This Supervising Social Worker post will primarily support and supervise Derbyshire Fostering Families to provide the best care to children across the county including those placed with Family and Friends. As the Fostering Service continues to develop there may be occasions where as a Supervising Social Workers you will be asked to carry out assessments and other areas of fostering social work.
