Full Job Description

As a Training Administrator within our HR team, you will play a key role in supporting the Horniman Museum's corporate training initiatives. Your responsibilities will include coordinating training sessions, documenting training activities and content and assisting with digital literacy training across the organisation. You will be the main point of contact for all training related enquiries. We are looking for a proactive candidate with excellent organisational skills and IT proficiency, including experience with Office 365, who can work effectively and independently as part of a team. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective methods for recording training activities and content of corporate training courses.
  • Manage bookings and coordinate information for HR-led training sessions in collaboration with the HR team.
  • Create and maintain an accessible training calendar for internal and external training activities.
  • Capture, analyse and report on training activities, ensuring accurate documentation and feedback collection.
  • Identify digital training needs, ensuring effective delivery and support across the organisation.
  • Provide technical assistance with eLearning platforms and ensure staff have the correct access levels.
  • Communicate and promote corporate training initiatives through internal channels to engage staff.
  • Collaborate with managers and HR to assess training needs and ensure compliance with mandatory training requirements., This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced administrator with a passion for education and the museum sector. You'll play a key role in supporting our training programmes, ensuring a positive experience for all participants and contributing to the excellence of our services.

    Excellent organisational skills with a strong ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 and experience with eLearning platforms.
  • Strong IT skills and comfort with data analysis for reporting purposes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with staff.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
