Exciting opportunity alert! Join us as an assistant project manager supporting the project management of a portfolio of projects within the Capital Delivery Programme. As a critical team member, you'll be crucial in delivering a significant programme of engineering infrastructure works valued at over £100m. Your responsibilities will include developing and building business cases, ensuring project success, and guaranteeing delivery to time, cost, and quality commitments., + Establish and continuously promote a proactive health, safety & environment culture across projects.
+ Delivering successful technical solutions that provide optimal value for money on a capital and whole-life cost basis.
+ Performance managing the service providers to ensure out-performance of service levels and value for money.
+ Leading a customer-focused culture that is unrelenting in its pursuit of excellence in service delivery to internal and external customers.
+ Proactively ensuring every customer touch point is a positive experience to remember.
+ Actively protecting, managing, and enhancing Thames Water's reputation to external customers and stakeholders.
This hybrid role is based at Clearwater Court, Reading. You will need to attend both the office and various sites as required for the position and business needs, which may be more than three days a week.
The work schedule is 36 hours a week, Monday to Friday. We are open to full-time, part-time, or job-sharing options.
A driver's license and access to a vehicle are required for this position.
+ Excellent contractual awareness of Project Management work.
+ Collaborative approach, good communication with contractors and stakeholders.
+ A proven track record of managing the performance of third-party organisations.
+ Continuous promotion of proactive health, safety & environment culture.
+ Experience in proactive management of project risk.
+ A strong customer service ethic, measurement of customer satisfaction and a proven track record of delivering improvement for customers.

+ Competitive salary from £35,000 to £45,000 per annum.
+ 26 days holiday per year increasing to 30 with the length of service. (Plus bank holidays)
