Full Job Description

AWS Infrastructure is seeking a talented, driven, and ambitious Warehouse Operations Manager with proven experience in driving process improvement and managing complex logistics challenges. The ideal candidate will:

  • Oversee day-to-day management of a 3P warehouse operator
  • Ensure site and product integrity
  • Lead process optimization initiatives
  • Execute projects that contribute to strategic goals
  • Champion lean operations principles
  • Manage vendors from a tactical and strategic perspective
  • This position will require UK nationality requirements to be met. The successful candidate will have a track record of enhancing operational efficiency and driving tangible results in a fast-paced environment. The position is based in London (Slough). Key job responsibilities
  • Liaise with transport and brokerage teams to ensure a consistent delivery profile to our data centre customers
  • Manage the 3rd party vendor across various aspects of warehouse management - security posture / inventory accuracy / site productivity / resource allocation
  • Build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
  • Enforce health and safety regulations to maintain a secure work environment.
  • Drive optimization initiatives by leveraging technology and best-in-class lean operation techniques.
  • Conduct trend analyses to identify bottlenecks and develop solutions.
  • Present data-driven business reviews to senior management.

  • 5+ years of direct experience in warehouse / logistics management
  • 5+ years of vendor management, demonstrating tangible results in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Lean methodology
  • Ability to prioritize activities with changing timelines, Global logistics or supply chain experience
  • Expertise in data-driven process improvement tools and metrics
  • Experience engaging with vendors at a senior management level, Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • 3+ years of experience analyzing business problems using various analytical tools
  • 2+ years of experience leveraging technology to drive process improvements
