Based within various Area Co-ordinators offices within the Bradford District Bradford Council's Neighbourhoods and Community Services Team is looking for the next generation of Locality leadership! You will be guided through the intricacies of neighbourhood and partnership working by a committed and enthusiastic team of Ward Officers, as part of a diverse workforce in Bradford Council working out of the Five Area Co-ordinators' Offices. Can you:

  • Motivate people to take action in their local area
  • Understand community engagement principles
  • Assist in the leadership of projects that result in positive outcomes
  • Assist in the leadership of effective multi-agency and partnership working that creates extra value in service delivery
  • Assist in the co-ordination and facilitation of public engagement and consultations in communities
  • Provide support and guidance to Elected Members in their community leadership role.

    Educated to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and/or possess practical full-time experience working within a complex
  • multi-agency setting.
