Full Job Description
As a Database Officer you will help manage one of our biggest investments, our Fundraising CRM. Reporting to the Database & Insight Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our fundraising database is effectively maintained and up to date. You will manage and streamline financial and non-financial donor and fundraiser data between the CRM, provide support and guidance to other users, including providing training and assist in the ongoing maintenance, enhancement and auditing of our data quality. The person will:
- Oversee integration, data collection and import from third party giving platforms, ensuring accuracy of data, monitoring and monthly reconciliation.
- Assist with managing the administration of regular Direct Debit processing of payments onto the CRM with regular audits into existing API functionality.
- Assist in developing and implement a data hygiene plan that improves data quality.
- Ensure all Gift Aid data is accurate, fully reviewed and submit quarterly claims to HMRC.
- Maintain data management standards, assisting with the implementation of processes and policies to ensure the best practise is followed.
- Work together with Supporter Care, Finance, and the fundraising teams to ensure income is accurately coded across all fundraising streams.
Do you have excellent attention to detail and have experience of working with databases? If so, we want to speak to you!, + Previous experience working with data management using CRM systems. + Excellent IT skills and be confident and proficient in working with Excel, Word, Publisher, PowerPoint and CRM systems. + Have an excellent understanding of marketing consent and GDPR + Have a resourceful and logical mind with great attention to detail and high standards of accuracy + Be able to think creatively and problem solve using data and strong critical reasoning skills. + Have a strong understanding of Fundraising and Gift Aid legislation and compliance rules. + Have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders.
