Sea Logistics Intermodal Specialist

We are looking for a Sea Logistics Intermodal Specialist for our office in Birmingham. You will work with the Intermodal team based in Aston, with a focus on operational planning of UK container transport requirements, utilizing the most cost-efficient routing.,

• Effectively monitor all non-conformance notifications from 06:00-14:00.
• Report all non-conformance notifications within 30 minutes between the hours of 06:00-14:00 via QA system in TOPS.
• Challenge supplier's non-conformance notification for accuracy of issue & time of recovery (ETA).
• Review and ensure data quality of QA's are correct; if ATA is within 30 minutes of original booking time, update QA to Arrived on Time; ensure that failed to rail QA's are against the rail vendor.
• Request ATA's from all suppliers, ensuring that every job has a actual time of delivery or non-conformance.
• Utilize port websites and TOPS to ensure timely collection of containers from quay.
• Monitor open QA's, proactively communicating with suppliers to ensure that delivery has taken place as per reported ETA. Provide positive feedback to customer to confirm that delivery has taken place.
• Take the responsibility of ensuring that all QA's are closed off and actioned; reach out to operational team for assistance as necessary.
