Full Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Adult Social Services Team.

You must have knowledge of the principles that underpin quality care e.g. dignity and choice. You must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, possess clear understanding of the sensitive and confidential nature of the post and be courteous and responsive to the needs of individuals.

For the role, we ask that you have:

A requirement to achieve a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Health and Social Care within an agreed timescale.
Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements.
Ability and willingness to work flexibly including weekends, bank holidays and sleep in duties., Disability Confident

We pay an attractive salary of £19,706 - £21,004 and offer access to training and development opportunities.

Castle View Residential Home is looking for a Night Care Assistant to work 3 nights per week on a rolling working pattern over any 7 days per week to provide personal care, emotional and practical support to older people living with a dementia within an environment that provides a homely atmosphere ensuring the rights, independence and well-being of people is supported and maintained., We have excellent benefits including the Local Government Pension Scheme and staff discount schemes.
