Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Development Rents and Contracts Administrator to join our Development team at Platform Housing. It's an excellent time to join the team as we strive to make a difference to people's lives and our communities. In this key role you will help move the great work we are already doing here at Platform Housing to the next level. Our Development Team is an exciting place to be. We have a large new build development programme, across a very large geography. We are striving for excellence and are looking to recruit someone who is ambitious and forward-thinking to join us on our journey. What could you be doing? You'll play a key role in this team by supporting the team to set new rents on our customer's new build homes and ensuring all our properties have accurate Affordable Rents when they are re-let. You will also accurately record affordable rents set to enable effective analysis and reporting. You will also support with the processing of legal documentation for signing and sealing, maintaining the internal registers as necessary and updating relevant systems. Reporting to the Policy, Procedure, Governance & Rents Manager you will contribute to Group projects and ensure that any new ways of working are implemented in the most effective way for the Development Team. This role will require you to attend our Birmingham Business Park office reguarly and have a flexible approach to homeworking for the remainder. Due to the nature of the role, office working may be required at short notice

You must be numerate with strong IT Skills and experience of accurately maintaining large databases of numerical information within Excel and/or SharePoint. You will be able to use technology effectively and appreciate how it can benefit an organisation. Due to the nature of this role, it is important you have good organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise and plan effectively. You will also have a positive, can do attitude and flexible approach. You will be organised and efficient, with strong prioritising and planning skills; managing multiple tasks at one time and still meeting deadlines. Because people matter here at Platform, it is important you also have excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrable experience of communicating with a wide range of people - including Customers - at all levels. You will have an ability to establish strong, sustained working relationships based on respect.
