Full Job Description

This role covers all of South Wales and some travel will be required from time to time, to attend funding fairs and other partnership meetings as well as to meet staff from Tesco branches.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
1. Work with a wide range of community groups and clubs
2. To assist with the promotion of funding programmes, particularly in areas where there is low uptake. This will be through attending community network meetings, liaising with relevant agencies and using social and local media routes
3. To develop and maintain close links with all sectors of the community especially non-profit organisations, and to provide advice and guidance on funding application processes and project planning to any eligible organisation.
4. To support successful projects by attending project celebration events
5. To coordinate grant panel meetings.
6. To provide monitoring reports on project progress and collate case study material, quotes and personal stories from successful projects

9. Be flexible and willing to support the delivery of Groundwork's wider portfolio of Health, Community, Environment projects, including play projects, cookery clubs, and green space improvement projects. This may include occasional evening and weekend working
10. To maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the programmes processes and systems, including attending training sessions and briefings as required.

Experience and knowledge of grant funding is an advantage, as is an understanding of delivering environmental projects and engaging local communities.

A full driving licence is essential for the role, which entails travel to various venues around the region.

It is expected that you will have relevant experience relating to all of the above.
Training, support and guidance will be provided as part of ongoing development.
