Director of Digital Urban Solutions

A fantastic opportunity to join FM Conway as our Director of Digital Urban Solutions to further grow and develop our current operations across our Street Lighting division, while also driving the growth and innovation of our offerings in the smart technology sector. In this influential role, you will spearhead business development with London Local Authorities, cultivate key partnerships, and implement a strategic roadmap that establishes FM Conway as a frontrunner in digital solutions across multiple sectors. Alongside our successful EV charging solution, SureCharge, you will oversee an advanced suite of technology-driven tools designed to empower clients in managing a diverse range of public realm assets. This permanent, full-time position is based at our head office in Sevenoaks, Kent, offering you the chance to make a significant impact in a forward-thinking organization.

The duties of the Director of Digital Urban Solutions will include:

- Developing and executing a comprehensive strategy to establish FM Conway as a prominent provider of digital solutions for smart cities

- Encompassing short-term and long-term objectives which align to central and local government policies and revenue streams

- Identifying and cultivating relationships with London local authorities and other key stakeholders to generate new business opportunities

- Offering and creating a solution that encapsulates all smart technology solutions

- Leveraging FM Conway's dedicated marketing team, effectively marketing and promoting FM Conway's Digital Urban Solutions to potential clients, highlighting the value proposition and competitive advantages

- Ensuring collaboration with various departments within FM Conway to ensure alignment and integration of digital solutions across the company's diverse portfolio

- Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of smart city initiatives, regularly reporting progress and providing insights for continuous improvement

- Building and leading a high-performing team of professionals dedicated to digital urban solutions projects and business development

We are looking for an experienced and client focused Director of Digital Urban Solutions with demonstrable experience in a similar role. You will have a strong track record of successfully implementing and developing business development strategies in small cities, or the digital solutions sector. You will have prior experience managing a business steam with P&L responsibilities, and you will understand commercial models and opportunities to drive revenue growth within this emerging field. A deep understanding of smart cities, digital urban solution and other relevant technologies is highly desirable.
