Full Job Description
To be a learning 'expert' by inspiring, supporting, driving and improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the Boehringer UKIE Human Pharma division, by working in partnership with cross functional franchises and key stakeholders to achieve and excel in the delivery of our strategic business goals. Whilst continuously delivering excellence in learning, evolving to be 'even better if', and adapting to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Accountabilities To understand and buy in to the overall goal for HP UKIE, how it funnels down to the Customer Experience (CX) goal, then further down to the Learning & Development (L&D) goal Proactively define and anticipate the needs of the business by analysing and assessing all available internal and external insights, to define value and tangible learning outcomes to drive the defined business strategy and goals Ensure a continuous learning environment and delivery of innovative training across HP to optimise current/new training solutions in line with the business priorities and needsInnovate and bring new development ideas/tools/ resources and solutions to the business and ensure continuous delivery of learning & development across HP to continually optimise the way we partner with our internal customers Promote the value of continuous Learning & Development (70:20:10) in order to inspire, challenge and enable individuals/teams to drive their own self development Using a performance consultancy approach - consult, influence, guide and coach stakeholders to discover the potential learning & development solutions and opportunities the L&D team can bring to the business and discuss it as part of a wider 'system'for now and in the future Build strong relationships, with trust and honesty, with your peers, key stakeholders and global colleagues to enable constructive and challenging conversations where opinions and ideas can flourish for the good of the business Contract and agree effective ways of working (WOW) with your key stakeholders/project team members To be an integral member of the Learning & Development Team and the wider Customer Experience Team (CX) where teamwork and collaboration are a given, and the environment we create is one of high challenge/high support, flexibility and sharing of best practice to ensure team goals are ruthlessly prioritised and met. Propose and deliver on value based learning with key measures and business outcomes, through internal & external data analysis and insight gathering that are clearly aligned to and support the business objectives. Responsible for the creation and implementation of curricula for LMS and evaluation reports and learnings recorded for audit purposes following training, with full data analysis provided Responsible for forecasting, monitoring and managing the national training budget, where we challenge ourselves and our external partners to ensure we are maximising our return on investment and receiving value for now and in the future Ensure that all activities comply with relevant legal requirements, ethical standards, ABPI (PMPCA) and IPHA regulations and BI and Alliance Company policies
Minimum Education/Degree Requirements
- Degree level education or equivalent experience
- ABPI (UK) / MRII (Ireland) qualification
- IT literate (Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- ABPI qualification
- NHS, product and therapy area knowledge
- Experience of coaching
- Strong Pharmaceutical sales experience
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- IT literate (Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Full valid UK driving licence
